Responsibility for future generations

As a family owned business, an awareness of our responsibilities, including those for future generations, is a central issue. As member of the world wide initiative, “Responsible Care” it is our declared intention to protect resources, as well as making all products and production processes as environmentally friendly as possible.

Environmental protection – a challenge that we gladly accept

We take environmental protection to be a technological challenge: With the regenerative thermal oxidation equipment we installed at the end of 2003, we were able to cut toxic emissions in half, despite a doubling of the emissions volume.
Already today, coatings with low emissions represent substantially more than 50% of our total production. We view it as a challenge over the long term to replace solvent based coatings with water based, or powder ones. Our water based coatings which are used mainly in the automobile industry, have set new standards – also in the area of environmental compatibility.
